CEO / Head Pediatrician
Dr. Mayra F. Capote is a Board Certified Pediatrician, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) in 1983. She completed her pediatric training in Miami Children’s Hospital in 1995. Dr. Capote also holds associate staff positions in Miami Children’s Hospital, FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and LECOM College of Medicine. She is Miami Lakes Pediatrics founder and currently the Chief Executive Officer. She has special interests in child abuse prevention and adolescent medicine. Dr. Capote is currently accepting new patients.
